About The Pan-Mass Challenge
The Pan-Mass Challenge is the largest single athletic fundraising event in the country. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $455 million for the Jimmy Fund, which supports adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). In 2014, more than 5,500 cyclists raised a record $41 million for DFCI – 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar going directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In 2015, the PMC aims to raise $45 million, which will bring the organization’s fundraising total since its inception to a half billion dollars.
